TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE HIDEAWAY GLAMPING

The Hideaway Glamping reserves the right to change this website, including prices and terms and conditions, without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse entry to the glampsite, cancel bookings, or instruct people to leave the campsite for any reason (for example due to inappropriate behaviour, dangerous weather or site conditions.)  Use of The Hideaway Glamping website constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

 

Privacy

Your contact and personal details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. If you do not wish to receive these, please let us know. You may also opt out of receiving emails at any time by contacting us. The booking process asks for your address details and phone numbers, these are required by the Local Authority so at any time we can prove you are not residents at the glamp site. It also allows us to contact you should the internet fail and if we need to contact you whilst you are travelling to the glampsite. Please note that your financial details are NEVER stored, nor seen, by us.

Booking and cancellation

To secure your booking guests must pay 50% on reservation/booking and the remainder cash on arrival. Bookings are non transferable unless notified 28 days in advance to The Hideaway. There is no refund of the 50% deposit for cancellations.  Guests have the option of transferring their booking if dates are available and this must be done within 28 days of checking in date. The person booking is responsible for disseminating the appropriate information sent to them to others in the party. For example, these Terms and Conditions.  This is to ensure they are fully aware of the nature of the glampsite, health and safety issues, the facilities and appropriate clothing/footwear they require.

The Glamping site is not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”) We strongly advise visitors to take out full holiday insurance to cover cancellations, public liability, personal belongings, loss etc.

Arrival and Departure Times

Check in is between 3pm-10pm. Guests must advise us of their estimated arrival time. If you are likely to be later than 10pm please let us know so we can arrange for someone to meet you and show you to your pod.  Guests are required to vacate their pods and leave the site by 11 am sharp on day of departure.

Group Bookings

If you are planning to have a noisy all night party then we are not the site for you. We do not encourage Hen or Stag parties unless they are low key and discussed with owners before booking.

It is essential that the entire group is made aware of the following Terms and Conditions. This responsibility lies with the person making the booking in order to ensure that the Terms and Conditions are adhered to. Group bookings may bring their own music.

PLEASE NOTE IF THE GROUP FAILS TO ADHERE TO ANY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITHOUT ANY REFUNDS. WE ARE A LOW NOISE POLICY GLAMPING SITE.


There must be no more than 12 guests on site. Only those guests originally booked are permitted to stay on site.

When enjoying yourselves here at The Hideaway Glamping, particularly at night, please be considerate to your neighbours. THEREFORE NOISE LEVELS MUST BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM AFTER 11 PM. If there are any complaints about your behaviour you will be given ONE warning. If you continue to be disruptive then you will be asked to leave the site. No refund will be given.

If any property is damaged during your stay then please inform the owner immediately. Serious damage to property will result in the group being charged the full amount for a replacement.

Do not use any fireworks, sparklers or Chinese lanterns.

If you have organised for external suppliers e.g. activity providers to visit during your stay then we must be made aware of this. You are required to provide us with the details of any company visiting the site. This includes the times in which they will be present on the site.

On the morning of check out, you must have cleared everything out of your pods by 11am so that they can be cleaned.

Rules on site:

  • Guests agree to the reservation and refund policy as outlined when booking

  • No children to stay at The hideaway

  • No amplified music after 11pm

  • Unsociable behaviour is not tolerated

  • Noise must be kept to a minimum after 11pm

  • Guests indulging in loud rowdy behaviour will be asked to leave without refund

  • Guests must use the designated smoking areas only.

  • Excessive drinking will not be tolerated as it will increase risk to your safety and the safety of others.

  • Only paying guests who are staying overnight are permitted on site at any time.

  • If you move furniture outside your pod you must put it back inside afterwards; no bedding outside of pods and this includes the throw. No swinging/leaning on the half door in the pod.

  • Please respect the property of The Hideaway. All breakages must be paid for in full.

  • Guests are requested that no noise should be audible from their accommodation or communal area between 11:30pm and 9am. Between theses times guests are required to respect the needs of other guests.

  • Guests can bring their own music and must be considerate of other guests when in use and must have it turned off when the Shebeen closes.

  • Guests should wear appropriate footwear as there are uneven surfaces; high heels or bare feet and flipflops are not deemed suitable

  • AT NO TIME should guests step over the barriers at the pond and must not interfere with the wildlife pond or waterfall

  • The hot tub is ready from 6pm to 10pm and each pod gets their own private hour. NO FAKE TAN to be worn prior to arrival for hygiene purposes and makeup must be removed before entering the hottub.

  • Maximum guests in the hot tub is 4 and this applies to groups.

  • You must not use the hot tub if you have any underlying medical conditions or are pregnant. 

  • You must not enter the hot tub when it closes at 10pm for health and safety purposes.

  • We do not recommend alcohol to be taken when using the hottub and so the guest does so at their own risk.

  • NO food in the Shebeen at any time except some snacks.

  • Guests will be shown allocated areas for recycling your rubbish.

  • The Shebeen shall be closed every evening as outlined on the website at night. The Shebeen will be open in the morning and closed weekdays at 10.50pm and at 11.45pm Friday and Saturday.

  • Guests must leave the communal areas neat, tidy and clean particularly the kitchen area and Shebeen AT ALL TIMES.

  • Guests must not touch the wood burning stove in the Shebeen or go behind the bar

  • NO CANDLES TO BE BURNED IN THE SHEBEEN or on the site including sparklers, fireworks and Chinese lanterns; no decorating the Shebeen without permission from owners

  • No DRUGS to be taken on our site or guests will be asked to leave.

  • The Hideaway reserves the right to cancel bookings in the case of extreme weather conditions.

  • The Hideaway cannot be held responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen personal property.

  • Guests must not enter the private premises of the owners at any time and respect their privacy.

  • Only 4 cars permitted on site; one per pod.

  • No football shirts to be worn on site to respect other guests

  • Guests must take all plastic rubbish with them when leaving.

Customer Complaints

In the first instance of a complaint, please contact us so we can resolve your problem.

Please note, complaints received after 14 days from the end of your holiday cannot be reliably investigated.
